From One Question to a Whole New Kind of Care
THE QUESTION
U&I was born from a simple but powerful question:
“Can we truly trust what we put on our skin?”
I’m Dharini Sudhakar, founder of U&I Naturals - Skin & Hair Care. The inspiration behind U&I came from everyday conversations at home with my husband Dr. Sudhakar, a practicing pediatrician. In his clinical work, he frequently met parents struggling with skin dryness, sensitivity, and recurring skin issues in babies, children, and even mothers.
Parents often asked him to recommend safe skin and hair care brands. But his answer was always honest—he couldn’t confidently suggest most commercial products. Not because options were unavailable, but because the ingredient lists were unclear, unverified, or unsuitable for delicate skin, especially for children.
One such conversation became a turning point for me. That day, I realized that instead of searching endlessly for a brand we could trust, we could create one. That moment marked the beginning of U&I.
